This morning at 7:35 AM, the district was made aware of a possible threat circulating on social media. In response, our team acted swiftly and responsibly by placing the high school, middle school and ATC on lockdown while we investigated the situation in coordination with our district police and administration.
A general threat was identified and immediately turned over to the appropriate law enforcement authorities for further investigation. At 9:00 AM, after confirming there was no active threat to students or staff, the lockdown was lifted.
We want to reassure our families that the safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. We are proud of how quickly and professionally our schools and law enforcement responded to ensure everyone remained safe.

UPDATE: Out of an abundance of caution, both the middle school and high school were placed on lockdown while our School Resource Officer investigated a potential concern. At this time, there is no immediate threat to students and staff and the lockdown has been lifted. We are continuing to take necessary precautions to ensure the continued safety of our school community. We will release more information if and when it becomes available.
